Carlos Aponte, a local history teacher at One Bright Ray Community High School, Elmwood Campus, and his students have created The We Love Philly project, where they explore volunteerism throughout the city of Philadelphia.
After Carlos and his students engage in a volunteer activity, they promote the organization by posting photos and videos of the service through their various social media platforms. Furthermore, they conduct interviews that air on their We Love Philly Podcast that highlight the organization’s work and opportunities to get involved.
