ABOUT MISSION ATHLETICS SETUP

1. What are the ideal working conditions for Mission Athletics AI?

Mission Athletics mobile AI works in a wide variety of conditions, indoor and outdoor, with or without exercise machines, and with or without sports equipment. However, Mission Athletics will work more accurately in the following conditions:

  • Well lit environment

  • Any surface

  • Ball or equipment with typical color

2. Where should I position my device?

Position your device on a tripod/stand so that your device can see the player, background, and entire surface. We recommend positioning your device so that it has a great view of your entire body (head to toe).

3. How tall should my tripod be?

Your tripod should be at least 3-5 feet in height.

What is accessible to users?

How much does a subscription cost?

  • Mission Athletics is free for all users. There is no subscription cost associated with Mission Athletics.

Why and when do you use invitation codes?

  • We only use invitation codes when a Coach or Manager would like to create a team. Teams of any size are free to create. Invitation codes help with onboarding the team more efficiently and effectively. It will limit user issues in locating and joining their team. If you would like to create a team account for your community, please contact us at support@missionathletis.ai. We will need the following:

    • Name of Team

    • Team Logo

    • Contact information of coach

    • Contact information of Manager (If any)

    • Contact information of athletes

      • Email address

      • Phone number (If 13 and under, parent’s phone number)

      • Uniform Number

      • Birthdate

      • Gender

What about Teams and large organizations?

  • Teams of any size are free to create. Coaches and large sports organizations can create teams and invite players for free. Teams have the option to have their communities use the free drills we continue to provide or send create a training program for their communities. If you would like to add a private training program or individual exercises to your account for your community, please contact us at support@missionathletis.ai. We will need the following:

    • Name of Team

    • Email address of team account

    • Video(s) of exercise

    • Name of exercise

    • metrics you would like to measure

Is Mission Athletics available on Android devices?

Yes. Mission Athletics is available on IOS and Android devices.

  1. How do I change my Mission Athletics Profile Login Email Address?

    Go to Settings and select “Profile”. Tap the email field to edit and verify your email address.

  2. How do I delete my Mission Athletics Account?

    To delete your Mission Athletics account, please follow these steps:

    • Update your Mission Athletics app to the latest version from the App or Google Play Store.

    • Go to your Profile › Settings (the toggles button at the top right).

    • Scroll to the bottom, tap Delete Account, and read through the on-screen warnings and instructions to delete your account.

    Please note also that once a Mission Athletics account has been deleted, it is irreversible.

    If the above steps don’t work for you, please send an email to support@missionathletics.ai with your Mission Athletics Profile Name, Login Email Address, the reason you would like to delete your Mission Athletics Account, and why deleting your own Mission Athletics account doesn’t work.

  3. What device(s) does Mission Athletics work with?

    Mission Athletics advanced AI technology requires a device with sufficient processing power. Mission Athletics currently supports recording on the following devices running iOS 13.0 or above:

    • iPhone 6S or newer

    • iPad Pro (model year 2016 or newer)

    • iPad (6th generation or newer)

    • iPad Air (3rd generation or newer)

    • iPad Mini (5th generation or newer)

    The following more advanced features requires more recent devices:

    • Hand Span requires a device with Face ID support, without the Home button.

    • Land Agility and Shuttle Run requires iPhone XS, XR or newer, iPad Pro (model year 2018 or newer), iPad Air (3rd generation or newer) or iPad mini (5th generation or newer).

    • Announcing advanced metrics in real time when recording a shooting session, such as shot type, leg angle, release angle and speed, requires iPhone XS, XR or newer, iPad Pro (model year 2017 or newer), iPad Air (3rd generation or newer) or iPad mini (5th generation or newer).

    You can use an iPhone 5s or later to view videos, data and stats.

  4. Can Mission Athletics track exercise attempts on any surface?

    Yes, Mission Athletics can track exercise attempts as long as we have clear vision of you on the surface.

  5. How To Change Player Information?

    Go to your Profile › Settings (the toggles button at the top right), then click on “profile” to edit player information.

  6. What can I do if my workout is inaccurate? 

    If you find your workout has an inaccurate response, please email our support team detailing the exercise selected and what occurred at support@missionathletics.ai.

  7. How accurate is Mission Athletics?
    When the app is set up properly, our testing has shown Mission Athletics to be highly accurate. We are constantly improving Mission Athletics to be accurate in every sport and fitness environment possible.
